Tax & Utility Payments: Important Information

With a Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike on the horizon, property owners are encouraged to use alternative options for receiving and paying utilities and property taxes.
BILLS & NOTICES
All Quarter 1 (January 1-March 31, 2025) utility bills were mailed out the third week of April. If you have not received your Q1 utility bill contact the Municipal Hall office.
Owners can obtain their property tax notices by:

- Electronic billing. Sign Up For E-Billing
- Hard copy from the Municipal Hall office. *Should Canada Post resume service prior to the property tax due date, remaining notices will be mailed out.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
The following payment options are available to property owners:

- Through your banking institution (online banking, telephone banking, or in person at your local bank).
- At the Municipal Hall office by cash, debit, or cheque
- Courier of cheque payments
COMING SOON: e-Gov Services!
The District will soon be launching e-Gov services. Through the e-Gov portal owners will soon be able to access real-time utility and tax account balances, make online payments by credit card, update contact and mailing address information, receive newsletters, and more.
DUE DATES
It is the responsibility of property owners to ensure their payments are received on or before the due date. To avoid penalty, payments MUST be received by the below dates:
May 26, 2025 – Q1 Utilities
July 2, 2025 – Property Taxes (including the Homeowner Grant for eligible property owners)
Post-dated cheques received after the due date will not be considered on time; applicable penalties will be applied.
