The District of Port Hardy provides residential garbage and recycling pickup and disposal services via its contractor, Fox’s Disposal Ltd. Please note that arrangements for garbage and recycling services for multi-family residential developments are made directly by the owners of these developments. This latter arrangement also applies to non-residential developments.

Weekly curbside garbage pick-up begins May 6, ends October 25. Each week, property owners/occupants will be able to place ONE (1) can of garbage out on their regularly scheduled collection day for pick-up. Curbside recycling will continue with collection every other week.
