May 5th is a day to honor and remember the Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people who have gone missing or been murdered. It is a time for reflection, raising awareness, and advocating for justice and action to address the ongoing crisis. Many people wear red to show solidarity and to call for meaningful change.
The public is invited to participate in a community gathering to commemorate and honour the lives of Indigenous women, girls, and 2-spirit people who have gone missing or been murdered.
